SHU Bowling wins 4th NEC Championship!
HAMILTON, NJ–– The Sacred Heart women's bowling team defeated Mount St. Mary's to clinch the program's fourth NEC Championship title and its first since the 2015-16 season. With the win, the Pioneers earn an automatic bid to the National Collegiate Bowling Championship, in Cleveland, Ohio from April 11-13.
With the win, the Pioneers are guaranteed to be one of the 12 teams competeting for the National Collegiate Bowling Championship. Of the 12 teams, four will receive automatic bids to the championship, while the remaining eight teams will face-off in head-to-head matches. The four winners will advance to the National Collegiate Women’s Bowling Championship held from April 11-13 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Pioneers will know their seeding after the NCAA Selection Show, which will take place Wednesday, March 27 at 4 p.m.
