Help a Pioneer in Need
As Sacred Heart University continues to navigate the unprecedented challenge of the coronavirus (COVID-19), many community members have asked what they can do to support students impacted by this challenging time. While the full impact of COVID-19 on our student community is still unknown, it has already significantly disrupted their life here on campus and created hardship circumstances. With a generous gift of $5,000 from alumnus and trustee Doug Kennedy ’78, ’82 MBA, Sacred Heart has launched a Student Emergency Fund to assist students who are confronted with unexpected personal expenses due to COVID-19.
Our students at Sacred Heart work hard to support themselves and the pursuit of their goals. We are committed to helping meet their needs in these uncertain times. Gifts to the Student Emergency Fund will help current Pioneers who are facing challenges affording housing, transportation, basic needs, resources for online learning, and more.
Your gift will have an immediate impact on our current students. The University is committed to every member of the Sacred Heart family and to ensure that we get through these times together. Please consider making a donation today to support our students and help continue to make their education possible.
With thanks from the entire SHU family.
